Managing Employee Roles

How to manage employee roles in Lightspeed retail:

  1. Open settings in the main menu
  2. Under advanced setup open employee roles
  3. Here you will find four default roles
  4. Within each role, you can toggle off and on specific rights

To assign employees to the role

  1. Open settings
  2. Under general open employee setup
  3. Click on an employee to open up their information
  4. You can change their role in the drop down menu in their profile
  5. If you choose a custom role and save a new menu will appear
  6. Here you can define rights for that specific employee
