Managing Employee Roles
How to manage employee roles in Lightspeed retail:
- Open settings in the main menu
- Under advanced setup open employee roles
- Here you will find four default roles
- Within each role, you can toggle off and on specific rights
To assign employees to the role
- Open settings
- Under general open employee setup
- Click on an employee to open up their information
- You can change their role in the drop down menu in their profile
- If you choose a custom role and save a new menu will appear
- Here you can define rights for that specific employee
