The following steps will outline how to create your memberships with Chronogolf.
- In Settings select Membership Plans
- Create the different membership plans that apply at your course by clicking on + New Membership Plans
- When creating a new membership, make sure you enter the Name of the membership, the corresponding Price (before taxes) and identify the corresponding Player Type that will be allocated to the customer when you sell that membership.
The following steps will outline how to sell memberships with Chronogolf
- Make sure you have created the different membership plans that apply to your facility (as explained in the steps above)
- In Customer Base select the player that you would like to sell a membership to.
- Once you have selected the player, go to the Subscriptions tab.
- In Subscriptions click on + Sell Subscription
- In the first step, fill the form by selecting the Membership Plan that you'd like to sell to the player and the corresponding start date and end date of the membership.
- In the second step, click on sale and fill the form. It is important to note that you have two payment methods when selling a membership: A- On Account or B- Register
A. Selling a membership with the On Account Payment Method
- If you choose On Account as the payment method, you will charge the customer the membership fee on his or her House Account.
- You can identify when you want the sale to happen in Sale Date. The Sale Price by default will be the price of the membership that you set in your membership plans but you have the flexibility edit the price.
- In Payment Strategy you can identify when the billing cycle will start under and how you would like to split the payments on account. If, for example, the membership should be charged in 6 equal monthly dues that will appear on the house account of your member, you put in 6 under Partitioning.
- Your Payment Strategy will impact your Payments calendar that you will see appear on the right hand side with the corresponding member dues to appear on your member's statement every month.
- Once you have completed the form, hit Save. The corresponding dues will appear on the House Account of your member when the account has synced.
- In Chronogolf, you will now see the active membership appear.
- If you click on the membership plan, you will see member dues calendar with the corresponding charges.
B- Selling a membership with the On Register Payment Method
- If you choose Register as the payment method, you will charge the customer the membership fee through the Pro Shop Point of Sale.
- You cannot modify the Sale Date on this screen. The Sale Price by default will be the price of the membership that you set in your membership plans but you have the flexibility edit the price.
- Once you have completed the form, hit Save.
- You will be taken to the Sales Screen of the Pro Shop Point of Sale in order to complete the sale and choose the appropriate payment method.
- In Chronogolf, you will now see the active membership appear.
